    一、Warm-up

    The whole class sing a song named “How’s the weather” with actions which imitate the weather.

     

    二、Lead-in

    Our friend Alice wants to go out and play. How’s the weather?

     

    三、Presentation

    1Let the students hear the sound of rain and learn the new words rain-rainy, (1)Blending words r-ai-n ,r-ai-ny. How’s the weather? It’s rainy.

    (2)The game of Big voice- Small voice

    (3)Read the new words one by one for 2 rows

    (4)ChantRainyrainyrainyI don’t like rainy days. Group reading.(2 groups)

    It’s rainy, Alice can’t go out and play. Let’s help Alice to drive away the rainy day.

    (5)Sing a song “Rain, rain , go away” .这几个环节设计很好,一个情景自然串下来了。

     

    2PPT shows the cloud is all over the skylet students guess and then show the words cloud-cloudy.

    (1) blending words cl-ou-d, cl-ou-dy. How’s the weather? It’s cloudy.

    (2) Mouse-reading, the students look at my mouth and read out the words.

    (3) Read the new words one by one for 2 rows.

    (4) Chant: Cloudy, cloudy, cloudy, I don’t like cloudy days. Group reading.(2 groups)

    (5) Alice don’t like the cloudy days, she can’t go out and play. Let’s find a good weather.

     

    3The sun is rising. Alice is very happy.

    (1) Blending words: s-u-n, s-u-nny. How’s the weather? It’s sunny.

    (2) Golden-finger. I say the words one time, the students will say the words by the number of my fingers.

    (3) Group reading the words

    (4) Chant: Sunny, sunny, sunny, I like sunny days.

    (5) It’s sunny. Alice can go out and play.

     

    4Show the sound of the wind. The wind is coming to help us go out and fly kites.

    (1)Blending words: w-in-d, w-in-dy. How’s the weather? It’s windy.

    (2)I do ,you say. I say you do. The four new words with four gestures to let the students remember them.

    Invite one little teacher to repeat the process I did.

    (3)Pk Reading.

    (4)ChantwindywindywindyI don’t like windy days

    We like cloudy and sunny, we can go out and play.

    5Sum-up the new words and let the students to sum up letter y, sounds [i].用天气预报把每个环节串起来会不会在情景上更好的衔接。

     

    四、 Practise

    2Survey by groups 2 groups for show

     

    3Guessing game in pairs4 pairs for show

    4Let the students show their own weather icon, and to ask and answer in group.Give the students more weather report icons to let them figure out, which expand their knowledge. 4 groups to introduce their icons.
