Unit 3 It’s time to get up

一、教学目标

1. 知识目标：

（1）学习并掌握以下单词和词组：

time, o’clock, get up, half past, a quarter to, sleep, tired

（2）学习并掌握以下句型：

What time is it? – It’s ….

It’s time to ….

2. 语言技能目标：

1. 能够询问和回答现在的时间；

2. 能运用新学的方式来正确表达整点、半点和几点四十五分的时间；

3. 能运用正确的句式来表达“是……的时候了”。

3. 情感态度目标：

培养学生从小热爱生活，树立良好的时间观念，并对其思维的开拓，提高与人交流合作的技巧。

二、教学重、难点

1、重点：

掌握询问和回答现在的时间的方式，并运用正确的句式来表达“是……的时候了”。

2、难点：

能运用新学的方式来正确表达整点、半点和几点四十五分的时间。

三、教学方法

1、导入法：

由情景、歌曲和故事导入新单词和新句型，以加深学生对该单词和句型的认知，以达到更好的教学效果。

2、游戏教学法：

用游戏形式复习单词、句型，练习新语言点，使学生寓学于乐，在轻松、愉快的气氛中自然而然地获得英语知识与技能，也能增加课堂趣味性，使学生更能专注投入到课堂中来。

3、交际法：

在师生、生生的交流中，使学生能够考虑到进行交流的人们的作用和地位，考虑到所涉及的题目和情景，从而能恰如其分地运用语言。

4、活动教学法：

按照不同阶段来设计、布置情景，提供材料，让学生积极参与自由操作、观察思考。通过让学生自己调查、发现，得出答案，激发学生的学习兴趣，更能吸引学生的学习注意力。

5、合作学习法：

让学生通过参加pair work活动，给予学生练习语言并互相学习的条件和机会，并从中提高学生与人交流合作的技巧。

四、教学过程

1. Warm up: (3mins)

（1）Free talk.

（2）Let’s sing along: This is the way.

2. Leading in: (12mins)

T: Children, today we are say something about “time”.

左板书：time

（1）Review:

Flashing Game: 运用PPT闪过时间，先用数字，再用时钟；先用整点，再用半点和四十五分。

T: What time is it?

S: It’s ….

（2）引入新的时间表达：( T show a clock.)

T: Children, look at the clock. What time is it?

S: It’s 7:00.

T: Ok, we can say “It’s 7 o’clock.” Say after me.

S: It’s 7 o’clock.

开小火车，重复练习整点时间，老师调节闹钟。然后重复以上问答，继续练习半点和四十五分的表达。（教的过程中，对应展示时间的简易表达：7：00，7：30，9：45）

（3）Question Time

T: Who wants to be a teacher, putting the clock and ask the children “what time is it”?

S1: What time is it?

S2: It’s ….

（4）Pair Work

Ask and answer with your partner. Let some Ss show to whole class.

3．Learning the dialogue: (8mins)

（1）教师拿出时钟，拨动时钟指针，向学生提问。

T: What time is it?

S: It’s 7 o’clock.

T: Ok, look at the picture of Ben. (PPT of Ben is ready to get up.) Is it time to have breakfast?

S: No, it isn’t.

T: Is it time to go to school?

S: No, it isn’t.

T: So… it is time to do what?

S: It’s time to get up.

T: Very good! Say after me. It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time to get up.

S: It’s 7 o’clock. It’s time to get up.

(Show the pictures of Ben are ready to go to school and Ben is ready to sleep. Using this ask and answer to learn the dialogue.)

（2）Look, listen and read the dialogue.

（3）Read and act the dialogue with your partner.

4. Development: (17mins)

（1）看一段对话，把timetable填写完整。

（2）看一段关于time视频，回答问题。

（3）看一段关于Cuckoo Clock的长视频，回答问题。

（4）综合说：展示PPT，结合新旧知识，综合输出。

5. Homework:

（1）Listen and read the dialogue.

（2）Complete your timetable.
