    教学目标:

    能听、说、读、写单词carrot, milk, cat food, dog foodwater, seeds, fish food, a kitten, a puppy

    能使用句型“Kittens/birds/dogs drink/eat…”来描述常见动物的饮食习惯,培养学生的观察、想象力以及综合运用语言的能力。

    重点:

    单词:carrot, milk, cat food, dog foodwater, seeds, fish food, a kitten, a puppy

    句型:Kittens/birds/dogs drink/eat…

    难点:

    句型:Kittens/birds/dogs drink/eat…前面是复数,后面动词不需要加 “s”, 跟第三人称单数加以区别。

    教学设计:

    1Talking:

    1Show a picture about Pat’s pet corner, let students visit it, and discuss: What’s in the pet corner?

    Guide them use the structure: There are… to describe them.

    2Pair work:

    Miss Li: What’s your favorite pet?

    Tim: I like… It’s big/small.

    It’s lovely. (cute/ pretty )

    Miss Li: What color is the …?

    Tim :It’s .... (green / yellow / orange…)

    Miss Li: What can the… do ?

    Tim : It can jump. (run /swim/fly)

    3) Listen and read the word1-4, and learn more about the pets.(自主听读5-8分钟)

    2Teaching:

    1) Lead in: Different people like different pets, but children, do you know: What do they eat and drink?

    2Work in groups: Tick (√) the correct answers. Tips: 1.Read out the new words in groups.

    2.Each student choose one of the pet, and describe what they eat and drink in English.

    Eg: Puppies eat… Puppies drink …

    3. Tick (√) the correct answers.

    3)Check the answers and teach the key structures:

    3.Training:

    1) Read Part A

    2Listen and read the dialogue1-4, and learn more other students’ favourite pets.(自主听读10分钟)
