    PEP小学英语五年级下Unit3A Let’s talk 教学设计

     

    教学目标:1.能够听、说、认读句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in February, too? NO, my birthday is in …..

    2.能够使用句型“How many birthdays are there in January? There are….”进行生日情况的调查并填写调查表。

    3.能够听懂、会唱歌曲“WhenIs Your Birthday?”

    教学重点:强化第一课时的句型“When is your birthday? My birthday is in….并听、说、认读新句型:Isyour birthday in….,too?

    教学难点:学生要根据实际情况使用多样化的表达方式,如:When is your birthday? Is your birthday in….,too? How many birthdays are there in January? 以及When is Children’s Day…….?

    课前准备:PPT课件 录音机 录音带

    教学过程:Step1: Warm up: ⑴ Let’s chant 学生边听边做动作,可以复习12个月份,同时又能激发学生的兴趣。

    结束Let’schant 后老师问:Howmany months are there in a year?

    S1:Twelve.

    TIshe/she right?

    S:Yes!

    T:There are twelve months in a year. Who are they? Let’s togetherlook and guess. (通过PPT来呈现,通过猜的形式来巩固12个月份)

    Step2: Preview: T: When is your birthday?

    S:My birthday is in ……(师生说完以后,同坐两两说,互相询问对方的生日)

    Step3:Presentation:

    老师走到一名学生跟前问:

    Whenis your birthday?

    SMybirthday is in May.

    T:Is your birthday in may, too?

    (老师有走到一名学生跟前问,引导学生用YesNo来回答,同时板书这句话,领读)

    让学生猜老师的生日在几月,用Mybirthday is in May. Is your birthday in may,too?这一句型来问老师,可以吸引学生的注意,同时巩固了新句型。

    T:通过上面的对话已经知道你的同伴和老师的生日,现在让我们一起来听Let’stalk.PPT呈现三个问题:1.Whenis Wu Yifan’s birthday?

    2.Whenis Amy’s birthday?

    3.Whenis Zhang Peng’birthday?(让学生有目的的去听,然后回答问题,最后跟读)

    扮演角色朗读Let’stalk.

    Makea dialougue:

    keypoints: A: When is your birthday,….?

    B:My birthday is in……. Is your birthday in…,too?

    A:Yes, it is ./No ,My birthday is in ….

    T:How many birthdays are there in October? Please put up your hands.(十月生日的学生会自动举起手)Oh! You are so lucky , China’s birthday is in October,too.(PPT来呈现China’sbirthday又叫 NationalDay). 用同样的方式呈现ArmyDay, Christmas Day……..

    做对话,Keypoints: A: When is Army Day…..?

    B:It’s in ………….

    完成书中的 Let’sfind out.

    拓展阅读资料:John:When is your birthday, Chen Jie?

    ChenJie :My birthday is in July.

    John:What do you eat on your birthday?

    ChenJie :I eat a lot .I eat noodles ,chicken, fish, fruits and soon(等等).

    John:What do you do on that day?

    ChenJie :I usually celebrate(庆祝)mybirthday with my family. Sometimes I have a party(宴会)withmy friends.

    John:You have a good time.

    ChenJie :You’re right. my family and my friends give me manypresents.(礼物)

    //评价:拓展阅读材料部分应该是听和读相结合的,按照跨越式英语教学理念,在集体听读阶段教师要少选、精选拓展听读资源,一般为 2~3 篇,可以根据班上学生的具体能力来确定,这些材料的选择与安排要能够很好的体现层次性,由与课标的强相关到弱相关,由易到难。此处建议可考虑再增加两个拓展材料。英语教学以言语交际为中心,前边课文的讲解和此处的拓展听读都是属于言语输入的过程,这将为后边大量的输出提供前提和基础。

    拓展听读资源的选择,注意遵循以下几个原则:

    ·         提供为后续交际活动提供示范或素材性的材料。英语强调大输入大输出。学生在听读的后续环节就是交际应用,听读资源可以是为学生听读提供支持性的材料,如示范性的对话,或者学生后续可以就所提供的听读材料进行交流等。

    ·         可以提供一些体现文化差异的材料,如在学习“food and drink”主题的时候,就可以补充有关中西方饮食文化差异的小故事或者笑话、介绍材料等。

    ·         可以提供体现创新思维培养的材料,例如在学习“house”主题的时候,教师在拓展听读资源中提供了有关“My ideal room”这样的话题,启迪了学生的想象力,学生在听读这样的资源后,也可以发挥想象力,谈论自己的理想中的房间。

    注意提供体现情感态度价值观的资源。如在学习animal这个主题后,教师就提供了“亡羊补牢”的英文小故事,在巩固词汇、句型的基础上,很好地渗透了相关价值观教育。

    做对话,Keypoints: A: Excuse me ,can I ask you some questions?

    B:Sure.

    A:What do you do?

    B:I’m a student/policeman/driver….

    A:When do get up/eat breakfast…?

    B:I usually get up/….. at …

    A:When is your birthday?

    B:My birthday is in……

    A:What do you eat on your birthday?

    B:I eat birthday cake/chicken/….

    (这一环节是拓展综合说,既有新知也有旧知,而且是通过采访的方式,既巩固了新知又复习了旧知,学生还比较感兴趣。)

    //评价:此处做对话的过程就是英语课堂大量输出的阶段,鼓励学生交流,强调交际。
