    Unit 13 Shapes

    1. 教学内容

    第一课时Lesson 73

    二、教学目标

    1、知识目标

    1)学生能掌握四个图形单词circlesquarerectangle triangle

    2)学生会运用句型What shape is it? It’s a ….

    2、能力目标

    能听懂并在实际情景中自然运用英文询问别人和表达现实生活中物品的形状,培养口语交际能力。

    3、情感目标

    通过说唱活动培养学生的英语语感,通过引导学生发现形状间的相互关系,培养学生的观察能力、创新能力,养成仔细观察,善于动手操作的好习惯;各种动手动脑的活动培养学生的思维能力,语言能力及创造能力。通过将图形与实物进行相结合,让学生所学知识运用到实际生活中去,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

    三、教学重点

    四、教学难点

    1.句型 What shape is itIt’s a… 的应用;

    2. 综合所学语言描述由形状组成的物体并表达自己的情感。

    五、学情分析:本节课是Unit 13第一课时,本单元围绕Shapes这个话题编排教学内容,在情景中询问他人和表达实物的形状,并将新旧知识相结合,拓展对话练习,提高学生综合运用知识的能力,培养学生的口语交际能力。学生有一定的语言基础知识,在有意注意上教师还需多想办法。

    六、教学策略

    通过创设生动、鲜活的情景吸引学生的注意力,采用角色互换的手段,让学生在轻松的气氛中学英语。

    七、教学准备:

    文具实物、单词卡片、录音机、磁带、ppt课件。

    八、教学过程

    Step 1 Revision

    1. Sing a song.(What’s this?)

    2. Sing a song about colour.

    1) Listen.

    2) Follow.

    3.Model.

    T: Hello, what’s this?

    S1:It’s an eraser.

    T: What colour is it?

    S1:It’s white.

    4.Pair work and show.

    Step 2 Presentation (Listening)

    1 .T: Listen and do.

    TPR 活动:Boys, sit down. Girls, stand up. Red(the student who has red), sit down. Yellow(the student who has yellow),stand up. Everybody, sit down....

    2. Show sentences and teach.

    T: Today we will learn Unit 13 Shapes. Read after me. Shape.

    Ss: Shape.

    T: I have a paper. What shape is it? It’s a circle.What shape is it?

    Ss: It’s a square.

    T:What shape is it?

    S1:It’s a square.(Hit the square.)

    (Fold the circle into a square. Fold the square into a triangle. Fold the square into a rectangle. Teach triangle rectanglesquare in the same way.)

    Step3. Consolidation

    1. Gesture

    Just now we have learn 4 shapes. Now do you want to play a game?

    Follow me boys and girls. Show me your fingers.

    Make the gestures follow to the teacher.
